Been a while since I’ve posted. 2019 treated me well. Two knee surgeries this spring but I still managed to take a young bull in the wilderness and this nice buck on my last day to hunt this year. Hope you all are having a great year. Love seeing the stories!

That’s a full freezer. Best thing for bad knees is to use ‘em, I say, and it sure looks like you’re doing that.

Good job, but it’s hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that your season is over and mine hasn’t started.

Thanks guys... felt good releasing an arrow on an elk. I’ve called in and help kill probably 15 bulls since I’ve killed one for myself. I almost forgot how great that rush is! The knees are doing good... my bull was a 9 mile pack out and my buddy Tyler killed a bull that same weekend 3 miles in. That was 12 miles with 80+ lb packs ( there were 3 of us)! It was a good test! My muley green scores dead on 180 0/8”... 2” shy of my best with a bow. His teeth were worn to the gums... probably 8 1/2 or 9 1/2 years old. Still have my antelope tag to fill but it’ll be tough to get out before archery ends. I don’t mind taking the Bergara out and chasing speed goats. ??
