Arrows can be real works of art. Check out the threads on the leather wall archives and there are some mind blowing sets out there

Left to Right # 2 & 3 are real snake skin wraps. I was into making arrows pretty heavy for quite a few years and if an idea popped into my head, I ran with it.
Your arrows are coming along nicely.

Splicing feathers is pretty simple after the first couple you make.

Good luck to ya. (really)
I ran a custom arrow business inside my archery shop for ten years and it burned me out. Every arrow I sold was made to order. I think I averaged 4 hours a day at it on a rotating table of 12 Bitz's. It was my shops biggest time taker...I think I averaged about $4 an hour profit. :(

Brotsky I had some KC Chiefs wraps on my arrows and they didn't work in Colorado for sure. I think my hunting partners (Broncos fans) put some bad mojo on them. LOL

Looking at all those arrows is like standing at the candy counter when you are so hungry for a sugar fix. Which one to pick????

It aggravate me enough when I lose or break an arrow. If I put enough effort into building arrows to dip, add snake skin, or splice feathers it would really piss me off. They do look nice though!

Nice looking arrows. Been making my own for 35 years. I really enjoy. Nothing special, but I do cut wing feathers from turkeys that i arrow and use them as one of the three feathers.
