I had the pleasure of watching a button buck go after sis for mating, she out ran him. Then he looked over to a nice scrape and rub his buttons on a 4" existing rub. He turned around and seen the back side of mom and hopped on to her. She whipped around and gave him a uppercut under the jaw. I can still hear the smack, he left her alone.
Beautiful pics.
Have also had them chase my bird dog out of the woods like that. She was scared!
