3:39 PM LIVE from Ct*
Good afternoon people of CT. First hunt in over 2 years. I expect to see nothing. Made noise like a mack truck and sweated like a pig coming in. My feet hurt from the walk gut if I didn't do it today I might never do it.
Good luck to all

Glad your back at it! Good luck
Thanks guys! Just being out here I feel lucky. I forgot how much I love it. I was very reluctant to do it but I have a friend that wants to learn to bow hunt and that was the little push I needed. I don't even care if I see any as long as he does. He is on a tree about 80 yards to my 8.
Awesome to see you out crow!! I hope your bud gets one!!!
Yo yo yo grand master crow..glad you're back out buddy!!!!!..GL to both of you!!!..if you need a hand give a yell
Mr Crow! Great to see you posting again. I'm not far, so if you need any help, you know my number!
Thanks. I hope so too.
Wind is on and off. Up to 10 miles per hour south to south west. Perfect for me. Not to good for my buddy.
Temperature is a nice warm 77 degrees. All quiet and only birds chirping. Mosquitos were heavy coming in but kind of went away in the last hour. I'm sure they'll be back soon when sun goes down a bit. I need to get out before sun down because I need to watch every step I take with my bad feet.
Thank you guys! You are the best! You know there is no better feeling than teaching some one the ropes. I have a 55 year old rookie with me. He'll be dragging and I'll be dressing if we get any. Need to teach him how to do it properly. I hope I dont need to teach him to track.
Just heard a doe soft grunting a hundred+ yards to my 3 but I don't see movement.
I need that! Steve! Make me one.
Thanks!
Everything quiet. There were really fresh droppings on the trail coming in couldn't be more than an hour earlier. Wet to the touch and stained the rookie's teeth green.
The ole M&m trick eh..lol
Good luck!!! Hope your not farting out there!
If you think I wasn't farting..... you don't know me. I don't need no air cushion. I levitate.
So hunt was over at 6:15. Needed to get out when there is light as I need to see where I step on every step. There were a couple of trees over the trail that made me walk off trail and my feet hurt like a mother.
