I don’t think it’s illegal to bait for trail cam. Only if you are hunting.

What weird is if you click on the OPs profile it says his bowsite handle is 2020 but does not match the Shug it is listed as.

Several years ago I had several trail cam pics from f a beautiful pie bald cow elk. I would not shoot her even if given a chance. For the next 2 years I had mor pics of her and even got to see her on the winter range. During the late season cow elk hunt there were several people out to kill this one of a kind elk. If you are hunting for meat why target a maybe one in 100,000 elk just mainly because she is different and you want the hide to make into a rug. Personally I would love to see other people enjoying this one of a kind elk. You can roast me now but first and foremost I am a bow hunter but I also enjoy seeing Mother Nature at her best.

Had a small buck that looked a lot like that last year go by. 30yds, wide open, flat ground, broadside. I was at full draw thinking about it... But just couldnt do it. It just felt weird, like a farm animal or something. So I just enjoyed that, for me, once in 45 years experience.

Others may shoot and enjoy the undoubtedly fine venison. Your choice.

'Others may shoot and enjoy the undoubtedly fine venison. Your choice.' The Other White Meat! I am with Will and Styker. I'd let them walk even if they WERE legal in NY. Even if they ARE genetically recessive. They are unique, and I don't need the glory of taking claim to killing it, nor the compliments that might come with owning it. That glory is God's, He created it. I'd like to be able to see it in more than one static position sometime in the future. But, if you need that kind of fulfillment, go kill it... ;)

Stryker, I agree with you. That being said 1 in 100,000 elk, deer, moose, whatever are targeted every year for the size of their head gear alone. Kind of the same thing to me.

My last boss shot a piebald cow last year, I see nothing wrong with that at all. I would shoot a piebald melanistic or an albino if it walked by but I hunt doe cow and either sex tags so I typically just take the first legal animal I have a chance at if that happened to be a “special” animal cool if not cool.

From: Mint

I had a piebald doe on my trailcam a few times but hadn't seen it in the flesh. Somebody must have shot it since it has been over two years since the last sighting. Her fawns were always normal.

When you kill him, Mark, you should start a thread and name it... "Corn pile has left the building". Maybe add Sito to the title also. :)
