During my Elk hunt, the Lopes were chasing the ladies...What a blast to watch and at times, be between...

During mid September, once watch a pronghorn buck work a high weed like a whitetail buck working a licking branch... The only thing he didn't do was scrape the ground...

They'll make scrapes...and pee down their legs/tarsals just like WT, they just do it quicker.

Here's one posturing for his doe in KS last week.

Love watching pronghorn. If only the rut wasn't at the same time as elk...would love to decoy hunt them!

I won't hunt antelope at any other time than during the rut. So much fun! Last week of September is the best. Middle 2 weeks are for elk. :-)
