I wiped out this plot six weeks ago and it’s amazing! Combined patriot clover with Blackhawk and a small amount of straight ladino. Drawing them in like crazy.

That was fun! The two shooters never showed. I bet they got bumped since it’s opening day.
I did have this 8 show up. He would have been the best buck I killed here in 26 years. I passed him because I still have a few days to try for my two shooters.

By 6pm I had four different bucks in the plot. The 8 sparred with this smaller buck.

Buck bedded 25 yards away and stayed until it was dark. I nudged them off the field with a coyote caller 100 yards away.

He bedded 25 yards from my stand and stayed there until dark. I used my Foxpro caller to clear the field.
That tip was another winner! I did a yippee pack howls and all the deer trotted off.

After reading Pat`s post about clearing the field, was just wondering if anyone has used an app of coyote yapps for your android phone? That would be handy, as I don`t own a predator call.

Is it legal to use artificial lights when hunting in Pennsylvania?!!
Trapperkayak....yes I do, and picture is probably misleading. The stand is only 2 yrs old and I used pressure treated lumber on it. I also spray painted the boards with flat black paint when I first put them up so the fresh wood wouldn’t stand out.
