Which state?

I've been researching some outfitters and really like a couple I have found in Idaho and Montana.. curious to which state you guys prefer out of the two and why ?
If you prefer somewhere else I'm not opposed to that either.
I'm new to all of this elk hunting stuff and am just going off what research and little knowledge, or lack there of, that I have on these animals

Six of one half dozen of the other really. Idaho tags will be cheaper. Find the outfitter you like in the type of terrain you would prefer and go from there.
