Exactly. keeping one jar in frig. for use, and other two in freezer for later. will not keep to long at room temperatures. Melts very quickly.

Franklin, it has no smell. T-Roy, it melts down much quicker but it isn’t necessary. We ended up with about 3 gallons, lots of little old ladies will be getting gifts of bear oil, hopefully they repay the favor with warm donuts. :)

It’s a lot easier to microwave wave it. It comes out white and is so much quicker.

Lol I know it’s almost like cheating but I have brunt some in the crockpot a lot less babysitting it.
