Five CT hunters went to Canadian Trophy Quest without Pat this time. And although he was missed. We had a fine time. 5 for 5 with several nice bucks. This outfit under the direction of Rob Nye is fantastic.

This was the first of the season hunt at Canadian Trophy Quest. This was my third trip here in 4 yrs and we always go on this week. The weather was very temperate by SK standards. Lows in the 20s , Highs in the 40s. Some snow squalls. Greg Hammell has been here at least 6x. He also took a nice buck that I don’t have a decent pic of. The hunting was awesome, lots of deer activity. As a New England hunter the body size of the deer in SK is hard to adjust to. They’re huge. Hunting Whitetails on the northern edge of their range. Check that off my bucket list !

Fantastic, right on guys! Those are great deer. It gets pretty thin when you try and think of other areas where you could have that success with that kind of average size. Never mind pre-rut. Congrats.

Khnc it’s a combination of both. Fun as hell and Rob is hilarious. It’s also a pretty laid back hunt.
They also have some real giants like this one from 2016.
