This is in Yosemite. Looks like a pretty healthy deer that got taken down. 25mph speed zone so don’t think it was hit and it’s plenty alive bellowing.

Bear are more interesting and special than deer.

Ya they sure are “special”. Kinda like a big coons and rats. All 3 are interesting garbage diggers. There so elusive you can spot them at the county dump.

In the video a bear has taken down a nice mature 4x4 thats’s still alive. I just got a report from a friend here in Ca. He saw 6 bucks and 7 bears. Two were pushing the 500 lb range. The others over 300. Ca is loaded with bears

being omnivores, i'd assume their deer intake is far less than other predators
anybody know the stats on coyotes' diet? kill a yote, save how many more deer?
