Everybody’s brain is wired differently. The guy who did the review was smart to practice with it and check against a rangefinder to train himself to use it effectively before he used it in earnest. Practicing the same amount and in the same way with pins would probably yield the same result.

Very good point just about anything can be made to work with effective practice.

I own one. It sits in a box with random bow accessories. I couldn’t wrap my head around the spacial “basketball sizing”. It’s a well built sight. It’s a bang up idea. My not using it is a me issue not a problem with the product. If you’re not great at range estimation this will not help make you better.
