I was wondering if some of you on Bowsite might be willing to post your mule deer mounts and more specifically pedestal mounts. I’m trying to decide which route to take and what pose.

Those that have pedestal mounts how do you display them. I guess do you display them a certain way since they are moveable around the room on the base or do you normally keep them in one spot after you get them back? I am running into the issue of I can’t decide which way to have the mount facing, but already have a normal mount with a left turn so I was thinking of a right turn on the pedestal.

Although not a mule deer, this one gets about the most attention of any mount at my house. Pedestal with a rod on the antler base that runs up into the bottom of the mount.

I had Jonas customize the turn on one of my wall pedestal bucks. They have my daughters giant from a year ago and I wanted to attempt to have it mounted to match his massive rutted up neck.

Thanks that’s mine in the form photo. Briar’s buck was the huge neck toad that we are waiting on getting back.
This is a zoomed in trail cam of him just before the rut and just prior to him getting super swelled out.
