6:08 AM LIVE from Ct*
All settled in at 6:02am. Saw three cross the road just before where I park. Hopeful today.
Wet ground, warm, quiet and dark. Nice!
GL Bud..in a tree or stalking
Big buck roaming the woods. Orange will save your bacon. Enjoy the day.
Looks nice Bob good luck.
You on bow only or private today BBB?
This is a bow only area I used to hunt years ago, haven't been here in a while kind of disappointed. Not much sign not even a tree rat. Give it time and see what happens
Well if you’re in the NW part of CT, you know there’s no deer there!!!! There’s a guy on Bowsite that has been telling everyone that for years!!!!!! Lol. Good luck. Maybe these warm temperatures will help the doe scent get in the air and bring a big one your way!!
This spot was pretty steady for sightings, but it appears things have changed. Should have scouted it.

GL. When you least expect it..
Woods are so quiet I'm thinking about doing some still hunting. Can barely hear the squirrels on the leaves
Good luck BBB!!!
Bob, the last time you were there Steve was just a toddler...lol
I'm giving it till 10 then I'm still hunting.
Notme, it was all fields back then.....
Getting down to take a walk see what I find
Good luck Bob.
BBB, are you seeing things!? You know you can post here even when still hunting? Go towards the pine trees. I took a friend hunting once and after few hours watching the area from the top of a knob/hill he decided to spice up the emptiness with a fart. Loud and clear it echoed thru the forest like a grunt fueling my disappointment. I started chastising him only to stop abruptly while watching the deer getting closer and closer from behind the thick briar. He never hunted again and I miss him calling the deer.
well just completed about an hour walk a little less didn't see a thing going to head back to pick up my tree stand go home and rake the yard
Lowe’s doesn’t let you use their big leaf blowers?? ?? You’ll never use a rake again. :) and you’ll have more time to hunt. :)

Nice hunt Bob. I was out also but only saw squirrels and flocks of geese. It was very comfortable today.
when you get old, blood trail, you use old terms. When I say rake I mean blow them with my 10 horsepower self-propelled walk behind blower. Nice!

I knew this live hunt was about 14 years too early. ;)
I knew you were holding back on us!! You sure you’re not Tim the Tool Man Taylor??
Brian, you may be right. I gotta find a place with no acorns I think.
