How do you tell if you have a counterfeit Rx-3? I keep hearing people claim their handles are actually warm to the touch. Well, mine isn’t. So it must be fake.

Yup, fake.
Get rid of it, you need an RX-4, they corrected that issue this years. It’s their best bow ever.

I read this has been a problem for them since 2003 but only recently have people began to talk about it. There are better bows out there, just do a search here on BS.
Hope your hands do not have any permanent damage, or that you are not too emotionally scared. :-)

Warm feel to a carbon grip is a lie and marketing gimmick. No way to even measure it.

I have a carbon bow. When it is cold the riser on my bow is cold. Should I ask for a refund?

Yes, but you get to say you own a carbon bow. People automatically know you are a killing machine! And besides, they look better with your kill photo. That right there justifies the hundreds more you spend.
