Only the younger guys with kids might get this, but is this acceptable? haha... for the veterans these are elves that come from the north pole to watch over the kids for Santa. If the kids are good they move every night. This is there hiding spot tonight!

Lol. Thats completely acceptable. Very well done

I`m a wet blanket.....I don`t allow the family to decorate my mounts...lol

Amazing!!! Ours routinely hang out on antlers.

As long as your mounts don’t touch the elf with their hooves, you’re fine. Very creative!

LOL, my girls were decorating this weekend and I asked why they never decorate the mounts. Well done!

No problem with that, I find it acceptable and a fun way to celebrate. Enjoy those kiddos before their all grown up.

I guess acceptable for everyone except for Paul.

Haha, I think it's great! That dang elf shows up every year and I forget to move/hide the thing frequently. My wife was out of town this past weekend and "Ollie" forgot to show on Dec. 1st this year. He did show up this morning though (not coincidentally, my wife got home last night).

25 days of elf hiding started last night in my house. They spend a lot of time hanging on antlers here

That's a great idea! We've always just hidden him around the house, but hanging off an antler is a new twist.

Scoot X2 LOL. My wife was always on elf duty in our house and the few times she left me in charge, I blew it. My son is 13 and has known about the "Santa situation" for a few years. We didn't let mom know he knew until last year, she was heart broken. I swear that woman is part elf, she absolutely loves Christmas and gift giving.

For some reason our elf ends up in the manger. Prolly cuz I have a twenty year old toddler. Lol.

I'm really glad that thing didn't exist when we raised our sons! I never would have moved it, heck, took the tooth fairy up to a week to show up at times!

I ticks me off when anyone touches my mounts. Anything but the mounts! Well, almost anything.

My family is like a bunch of bulls in a china shop clumsiest people on planet earth I swear so they don’t get to touch my mounts, and I’m not into the decorations and such so it wouldn’t happen at my house BUT for those that are into the decorations I think it’s a pretty cool place for an elf on a shelf to perch up and watch over the Little’s.
