I want to put a ring toss game in my trophy room. I loved playing it at the bar in college! I am looking for some unique ideas. I need a backstop for sure.
If you do not know it is simply a ring on and a hook on the wall. The string is set to be just long enough to let the ring catch on the hook. If set right it can be very challenging!

Bullseye backstop or arrowhead (made out of wood). best I can, surely there is something better!

Hook it onto a rack of some kind. Antelope or small buck or something. Or a decent rack where different tines are worth different points.

Good idea! Might take a lot of testing but worth a shot!
Pun intended!

I wonder if you could take a cross section of a antler probably elk and drill out center to use as ring?

Yikes that would be tough to do but a great idea!

I like the idea of using a rack, and giving different points for different tines. Perhaps a euro mount, so the nose isn't in the way.

It's really not a ring toss, but a ring swing. So alternate hooks all need to be the same distance for the ring to hook correctly. I could see making alternate hooks that were at the correct distance, but an antler where several tines all seemed work would be very difficult to come up with.
Similarly the ring appears to be steel and part of the operation is its weight. I don't think a ring of antler would swing the same way as it's lighter.
