here are some of my knives been working on. I do them all myself including heat treat. Am getting my Elmax stainless to 62rc and for skinners/field dressers have worked very well even though grind the edge down to about .009 to .010 Think will need to take a break so I can get out and call some coyotes this winter.

Being I am a hunter and have used many blades in the field the hunter style knife has been my focus. That said I really want to try a 8” chef blade. Any other makers here?

Beautiful work Robert, I am currently working on an Alabama Damascus beaver skinner. I will post pics when finished. Any advice on the kydex sheath process? I'm thinking about going that route.

Work of art for sure. Now, would you skin a coyote with one of your knives? :) my best, Paul

Thanks for the kind words. I would absolutely skin a coyote with those. Minus the little cleaver. That said been real fun learning all the ins and outs. To be honest though would prob grab a havalon for old stinky dog. ??

Is a slippery slope when you get started. Ask my wife. I now have a garage set up like a shop with tooling and such. And after you think you have it figured out you learn something more and apply that so you are forever gathering new processes and skills.

I do sell them as get them done but slow on production as do in my off time. Everything I have posted here was sold or spoken for. I don’t post anything here for sale as respect to the sponsors, not sure how pat would take that. Maybe classifieds maybe? Not sure how that would work. Just posting my progress in learning and style. Here is one am working on currently. Maybe will check with Pat to see if he would allow me to put something in the classifieds if available. Thanks guys all the kind words.

Is just a general purpose knife. Lots of people like that blade style. Also don’t see them every day. That said if you were to ask my mom she would say is for dicing up grapes or sunflower seeds.

Joey,
I am going to use it for all kinds of kitchen stuff, dicing, chopping, slicing etc... it's not that small really, it has a nice feel to it!
