Check out this monster
The only pic I got on camera.
drooping ears!! Totally fake!
I bet hes tops on the shed list
Very old deer on the downhill side of antler development. Shoot!
If that's this years fawn, he'll make Boone some day...
I'm on my way out right now since it's a mild 24. Getting desperate. Hope he shows!!
its a pretty doe with 2 tiny bows
They all look the same on the table..
Yeah, would be nice to know if he's a button buck or yearling and agree with TrapperKayak, if a button, he's gonna be nice...
That's a want to be Jackalope. There on the endangered species list in WY.
Ontario? That proves it, farther north, bigger deer! That's the "Bergland, Bergmond, Burrrrr.....something Law"? Should put on even a few more inches next year?
Maybe try the long arm hold?
Definitely a branch antlered buck! Hope you get him!
If you shoot a buck of that caliber you have to do a full body mount
Looks to be noctornal ! They don't get like that from being stupid !
It will be a nice one next year.
All the "monsters" start out as little guys.
Shrinkage. Its cold outside.
Many guys on here have killed P and Y bucks. A few have killed Booners with their bows. I bet only a handful have ever found a set of shed's like those will be! The prize is int the eyes folks :)
I was at full draw on a fawn this year as I like to get one for meat. At the last moment I noticed his buttons were like a half inch longer than normal and figured he may have potential, swing over and pasted mama lol. It’s not often a half inch of bone saves your life.
Perfect for the big buck hunter that has hunted his long weekend. Shoot this deer, call it a cull buck and punch your tag.
Only an idiot would “cull” a forked button. I’m w/TK!
This little guy is safe with me, and I am pretty sure it is a yearling. Hope to get more pics in the near future.
Tough to score and age that beast! Good luck!
Those infrared-flash night pics always make the horns look smaller.
say what you want... he is symmetrical.
Cool pic. Always neat to see the wide variation of antler configurations. I would only shoot that deer if he were in range and presented a good shot angle. Other than that scenario, he'd be safe. Count me as one of GF's idiots.
dg72a - "I am pretty sure it is a yearling."
Not trying to be politically correct, but just curious, you meaning 6-8 months old (button buck) or 18 - 20 months old yearling? Some (including myself) called fawns yearlings, but they are fawns until their first birthday, then they become yearlings...
I guess I meant button buck . I don`t think he is a year old yet, but can`t be sure. I hope to get a better pic, and when and if I do, I will post here.
I think this is same little buck, not 100 % sure, but looks like him. What do you think?
Yeah,,, dang he looks in good shape...
Would be cool to find forked button sheds...8^)
