FWIW...looks like they are out. If I ever wanted a new bow, I'll get another APA. Their innovations are great and you can get quite a few options in the build-up.

5-5/16" brace height on that king cobra. That's scary.

I never shot anything with that short of brace. I like the various camo patterns, weights and DL options across their line of bows. The "fangs" built into the riser is very handy. I use mine just about every hunt in a hang-on stand.

Out of their line, I think it was the black mamba 35 I liked. Not too long to hunt with, a good brace height and good speed. I like the green for color. The price tag is out of my acceptable range though, nor am I in the market for a new bow. I do like to see what the under dog bow companies are doing.

Ever heard of a halon 5? Plenty of brace heights that length.

I'm sure they make great bows, but you definitely don't want one if you trade often.

I've had my Black Mamba MX2 since 2009 or 10-ish. I think they also will take your trade-in towards a new bow and I believe they also do lifetime warranties.
