Anyone have an old Carry Lite Antelope decoy laying around they don't want anymore. I'd like to purchase at least one and maybe a couple. Thanks!

I have one of the plastic fold types, not sure it is a carry light.

I'm interested if it is Habitat.

I don't see a brand stamped on it.

Habitat, that one is made by Flambeau. It’s called a “comand-alope”. It is very effective.

How much? It's not the carry Lite that I've seen but it's better than what I have.

Pop, are you thinking of the old Mel Dutton? It was a 2D side profile of a small buck. Carry lite did make a 3D buck antelope decoy also. As for the Flambeau like I have, I made some pvc legs and it sure helps a lot not having to use the single stake to keep it upright while you draw your bow behind it.

Any pics of you utilizing your pvc legs for your decoy, ND?

Sure, here’s a few pics of the concept. Originally this decoy came with a single stake in the center. It was sometimes hard to get anchored in the ground. The first year using it my wife had a giant buck run right up to her. She got to full draw and the decoy fell over in her lap! We either had to hold the decoy for each other or come up with something better.

Strap on the back for carrying it. Kinda handy.

I’ve got one that I think is a Mel Dutton brand decoy. Folds in th middle and has a single steak to hold it.

This is what the Carry-Lite looked like. It was a 3D decoy, the legs came off and stored inside the body.

I will be making some modifications to my Flambeau.

Thanks ND String Pulller!

Funny aside, two weeks ago we set up our club 3D shoot, with a pronghorn on the edge of a clearing. Driving by early the next morning I noticed something unusual over there. (You probably wouldn't want to carry in a Rinehart, tho...)
