SALT LAKE CITY — A year after a contagious respiratory disease decimated a bighorn sheep herd at Antelope Island State Park, the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources successfully reintroduced a new herd of 25 bighorn sheep to the island on Wednesday, Jan. 29.

Hopefully that 25 can survive and expand into a viable herd. A real cool place that could use a more real cool animals

I'm hopeful they do live and help for transplanting to other area's in the state.

For sure Robb.
Pretty sure they never used the Antelope Island sheep for hunting, just transplant to other parts of the state.
