From my property in northeast Ohio. Seems pretty aggressive to me for a single coyote to try to run down an adult doe.

On the hand, mule deer does find strength in numbers. I've seen them chasing coyotes many times. In fact they chased one into a blind I had whittled out of the evergreen tree once. We looked eye to eye, briefly, then the coyote took off, and the chase was on, again.

Have similar video of coyotes chasing deer behind the house at night in NE Ohio... Was kinda shocked at the time they came that close to the house, from my back door to the trail cam was only about 50 - 60 yards… Kinda scary too tell the truth...

We’ve been snaring the heck out of them but doesn’t seem to slow down the population. Turkeys are taking the biggest hit.
