40 degrees and very mild winter here on Long Island. The most mild I can ever recall. No snow to speak of.

Good luck tomorrow. We had snow at our farm and I went to take some stands down. Deer were hammering the acorns buried under the snow, and also went after clover under the snow. Huge patches of snow were moved, and it looks like even clover roots were on the menu. I will post the picture with my phone in a minute.

T-mac, Where are you hunting ? NYS hunting & trapping guide lists big game season closes 1/31/20- How can you legally be hunting February--April?

That disturbance by the blind above looks more like the turkey sign I see around here. Those deer must be high in number and hungry! Ticks are like mosquitos on LI. Lots of deer out by Montauk though.
