Thanks Herman and Judy Kovar, they introduced me to Mel Johnson, what a great man! Loved elk hunting along with turkeys! I remember Mel telling me his story about killing the number one whitetail. We talked thru the years! I miss calling him ! And no other then my all time favorite Chick Adams! The 1st Super Slammer! And a hell of a nice man, Chuck always made time to talk and he actually would show a interest in my hunts! I grew up on Reading about chuck and his friend Doug Kittredge All memories that will last me a lifetime !!
