Hi all and Happy New Year!
Bowhunters of Wyoming is once again raffling off a Commissioners Tag. This one for 2020. Please see attached flyer for information or ask questions on here. Also please note there are 2nd and 3rd prizes offered.
Once again, thank you to all Bowsiters as you guys are the ones that really make this thing work and allow us to complete many projects for Wyoming's wildlife, habitat and access. Thanks Pat and Charlie for always being supportive of our efforts! Ron

The winner will be drawn at our annual convention on March 21st.
Just picked up a couple tickets. Great opportunity and supports some really neat projects in WY.
Hopefully I just bought the two winning tickets!
I'm in and why not? My odds for a bull tag are better in the raffle than the application I sent last month.
Ron, must we be present at the banquet to win in any of the other raffles? Thanks!
Two friends of mine have won this raffle. Both are on bowsite
Brotsky, no need to be present to win. It just makes it more exciting. Just ask Palmquist!
Thanks Ron! Be cool to see a Bowsiters win this again! Will be in in the am!
Yes. In. Always love to support BOW and dream about which tag/unit I’d select.
I just bought the winning ticket.
This is for a great cause! I just bought two tickets myself.
I bought my ticket and renewed my BOW membership.
I'll wait till renewal date and then get it all done at once!
Thanks BOW for this yearly Daydream of a Raffle
Exciting, Robb
I had Kia push enter. Can't wait to hunt on my commissioner's tag this fall! :-)
In for my annual tickets!
Are NR only allowed 10% of these tickets with 3% going to outfitters now?
:):):):):)
In it to win it!
Count me in for a couple!
Even though with Kia’s luck on Brotsky’s entry it’s probably just another donation....
Tickets going fast. 150 sold
I bought the winner yesterday
Just became a member of BOW and in for a ticket.
Just thought we would let you know what BOW did with the Commissioner's Tag and other funds last year. First and foremost we have to give credit to Commissioner Mark Anselmi for giving us a tag. Here is a breakdown of last year's projects: Sheep Survival Study in Wyoming Range $5,000.00 Ecology of Male Mule Deer in Western Wyoming $5,000.00 WY Range Mule Deer Severe Winter Recovery-Pinedale $5,000.00 Wildlife Habitat Improvement - Lander $500.00 Paintrock Hunter Mentor Program Archery Support - Worland $700.00 Elk Mountain Bighorn Sheep Sightability $375.00 Two Spot Trace Devices & service plans-Gillette $520.00 Stockade Beaver Creek Conifer Removal II $5,000.00 Wireless Trail Cameras - Jackson $1,845.00 Access Yes $2,650.00 Sheridan Walk-In Areas Ventenata Treatment $5,000.00 Youth Hunting & Fishing Expo $3,325.00 Total $34,915.00 As you can see we donated more money than the 400 tickets brought in. We also had $7,500 from a partnership bison tag in 2018. BOW donated $6,940 of our funds and we had auction items specifically earmarked for the Access Yes and the Youth Hunting & Fishing Expo for $475. This is how we were able to donate $34,915 for projects in Wyoming that benefit all sportsmen, resident and non-resident.
If you can afford $50 for a chance at a elk, deer or antelope license in Wyoming, here is your chance, rest assured it will be put to good use - Mike
WINNER, WINNER....... CHICKEN DINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Ron, fingers crossed.
Same price as a preference point but you might actually get a tag! Buy up!
Thanks Mike for all you and BOW members do for all of us that enjoy your great state.
Bump to the top. Mike, Randy or I will post when we get an another updated ticket sales count.
Thank you. I only bought 1, but thats all it takes!
Thanks Jeff. Beat me to it!
Just bought my donation ticket. Also bought banquet tickets as some people are thinking we may sell out.
Im passing this year. Will be giving the WGF $1700 already
And you can still use your other elk license so you can kill two bulls! I’m in!!! That would be a season to remember.
I just got tickets 171/172
205 gone 195 left. If you are sitting on the fence on buying a ticket, you might still be sitting on that fence this fall while someone else is hunting in Wyoming with YOUR tag. Remember the tag is transferable, wouldn't this be a hell of a present for a kid or a friend! ....Mike
Ticket #75 is the winner! That's the year I was born, it's an omen.
I don't know Brotsky, I think Ticket #166 is the winner this year. That's the balance in my life savings account. It's an omen!!
Is the ticket number listed in the confirmation email?
Reggie
Check your SPAM folder. That is where is where I found mine.
So what could be the expectation for size for antelope, deer and elk on a two week DIY trip? With some expert advice from knowledgeable Bowsiter’s, of course :)
Rod, just so you're aware, the tag is for your choice of deer, elk OR antelope, not all three. Just hit up one of us BOW members for recommendations when you win:)
Thanks, Brian. Email located!
Yes, that’s clear Ron. I’m happy at least two of us are convinced I’m going to win!
I’m in for two tickets for .5% odds! Feeling lucky!
Grabbed one for dad and one for myself
Better hurry tickets are going fast!
Ambush, let’s make a deal, when you win I’ll take that tag for an elk hunt. And then you and I can whack up my 12 antelope points and have a really good lope hunt. Win-Win! Don’t waste that tag on a dirty old antelope ;)
And notice the confidence in which I state that with, because I know you are gonna win! ;)
—Jim
^^^ I’m saving a screen shot of that deal Jim. With the amount of animals you kill, that may be my best bet!!!
Though I shouldn’t trade you the tag for a Sitka hunt according to a guy from Iowa that wants to remain nameless.
Ambush, I see Jim's offer and raise him 2 antelope points! Ha!
The stakes are getting higher and ticket sales should be on fire!
Donated for a couple...Good Luck to everyone
Just got an email that we’ve sold 252 tickets
Well it’s 254 now. I’m in and bought a membership too.
And if I win I will NOT be using it for an antelope tag ;)
—Jim
255
It only takes 1 to win. Well... plus two more coolers!
Just bought a chance for my grandson
Can't wait to win that antelope tag :)
Ambush... looking for a 350 buck? Lol
No Mule, I’m not unrealistic. A new world record would be good enough.
Rgiesey - 15-Feb-20 said "Just got an email that we’ve sold 252 tickets"
How did you have an email on Feb. 15 stating that 252 were sold... when I bought a ticket yesterday (Feb. 18) saying I was 253? There were a lot of guys saying they just bought one or two tickets between your post and me buying mine yesterday. Seems odd...
Some have been sold by members not on the website
261 and my renewal---------->
Good luck, Robb
I hope an early bird gets the worm. Ticket #5 and BOW Renewal.
304 tickets sold as of 5 pm.
We put this on the bowsite less than two weeks ago so thanks Pat and Charlie. There also is probably members holding cash sales so we’ll get them all combined as we count down to 400. What a great chunk of cash to contribute to game management. Plus one of us gets a great tag.
In for 2 and a BOW membership
just picked up a 2nd ticket before they sell out
Got 2 today! Gonna b a busy season for 2020...Bou in Alaska for August, Elk in NM September 1-7, Elk in WY September 8-18th ish, Elk in MT for the rest of that season, and back to KS for whitetails and Elk as soon as I’m tagged out in MT! Wow...tired just thinking about it!-)
jingalls - sounds like the perfect season!
Thanks...more of a dream season. LOL! If I win th WY draw and draw NM again I’m buying a lottery ticket!!!
355 tickets are sold, 45 available. Almost certain none will be left at the convention in Sheridan.........Mike
369/31 I am pretty sure the winning ticket is in this last 31 tickets.......Mike
Guys will you draw early if it sells out early or it will happen at the banquet regardless?
At the banquet, either way. March 21 in the evening. I am sure it will be posted almost instantly by someone who has one of THOSE phones......Mike
As of noon mountain time there are 6 tickets left. Get them while they're hot! ....... Mike
Thanks to all that have purchased tickets this year and in previous years as well. Your money helps our organization fund projects that really benefit the State of Wyoming!!
Well, that went well. All gone! Now everyone has to wait 24 days to see if they won. Susan can finally quit dealing with the entries and get my supper ready. Thanks everyone for supporting the outdoors and hunting in Wyoming. And a really big thank you to Wyoming Game and Fish commissioner Ralph Brokaw for the tag! ....Mike
And really, I do feel sorry for you 399 losers. :)
Thank you Bowsiters and Commissioner Brokaw!
That's Great all sold out!
Thanks for the yearly daydream BOW and for all you do for wildlife with the proceeds
Good luck, Robb
Total different dynamic this year for non residents. Someone could be the first NR tag holder in WYO vs past years when the draw was over by banquet time.
Right now we all have a chance. Except my son who waited till just after the last ticket sold.
Good luck to everyone in the game!

We have a better chance than this guy!
Have no idea what happened to the posts that informed everyone of the winner. The winner was Chris Nichols from Ct. The drawing was held on March 20 and it was recorded on video. ...... Mike
Reads like he is doing unit 30 for his choice to hunt.
Good luck, Robb
YEah i forgot about this til now. I never saw a thread on it either.
