Wyoming Draw PP Question

I know that you can't buy a PP the year you draw a first choice tag. But can you buy a point in the year that you draw a second choice tag?

Since that question was so easy I will pile on. If I apply as a group of 3 guys with zero points will we have one chip in the box or three? I am looking at a half dozen zero point units with anywhere from 25% to 85% chance to draw with 0 points. Three chances at these odds is a lot better than one chance obviously but I dont which it will be.

fastflight, your group app will be looked at like a single app with zero points. The good news is if there is only one tag left and your app comes up, you all get tags.

Fastflight - and you also have a chance in the Random

Wyoming doesn’t combine group apps but the result is the same as if they did; all three will be in the draw sorted by the same number of points, the same random numbers, and then by names. You can see the party members listed separately in the demand reports by comparing apps to issued licenses.
