Anyone ever hunted with these guys? I see a lot posted on Frank and Bowhuntng Greenland. Frank obviously runs a first class show but you pay dearly for it. Looking for something fun and different

It is a phenomenal adventure. Went with frank last summer. If someone else could match his quality and logistics at less cost all the better. All I can say is go. One way or the other. Go.

Luke......I would HIGHLY recommend Karsten Lings. I hunted with them last August for caribou and musk ox, and had an amazing trip with them. I posted a thread about my hunt on here. See “The OX-BOU Incident(s)” if you’re interested. He was considerably cheaper as well.

Also sent you a PM.

I was booked to go with Frank 2 years ago. He had to cancel due to the area we were gonna hunt being closed. I ended up hunting with Karsten Lings. He runs a first class operation as well. I was lucky enough to take these two in two days for less than taking one with Frank. I’ve heard nightmare stories about other outfitters in Greenland so be careful. Not saying that the guy you mentioned is one of them since I don’t remember who they were. But you can’t go wrong with Frank or Karsten. Also be aware that the shipping back will run you $$$ figure that into your budget. I think I paid a few grand between processing and shipping home.

Shug I remember your pics as well and how expensive it was to ship home. Heard that a lot so far.

Yes it can be up to 2,500 - $3000 to get it to your taxidermist stateside. It had to go back to Europe. I just gave mine away. What a trip. Just go. Figure out the money later.

A friend and I are hunting with Frank in September of 2021 for both musk ox and caribou. Yes, it’s expensive, but a once in a lifetime trip will be worth it!

I hunted with Frank in 2016 and shot a muskox. It was the trip of a lifetime. I'm headed back to Greenland this year for Caribou only.

.......”can be up to 2,500 - $3000 to get it to your taxidermist stateside.”

That is only hide and horns ? doesn’t include any meat?

Can one even bring meat back?

Even a little in your luggage ?

From: Bou'bound

No meat allowed back unless it is still in your digestive tract

The money is for shipping both ways to Europe and then to USA. Also hide skull prep in Europe to get it out of country and inspected and back to USA

From: sticksender

You can't fly the meat back into the USA, since it's coming from Europe.
