Due to the need for social distancing and the cdc calling for people to stay at least 6 feet away from one another, Colorado otc has been cancelled!

That's OK. I'll just put in for one of the new 0 point draw units in the southwest.

Dang it. Right when I finally found a new honey hole. Last year I usually had at least 30' - 40' between me and the next guy. It was crowded on the hike in and out but once back in a few miles there were times I could face a couple directions without seeing anyone close enough to speak with in a loud whisper.

Can you imagine what that would have done to the infamous Kodiak Boat hunt where they all piled in a heap like puppies at the end of the day.

OTC elk not cancelled, but in other news: It was released today by the DPW that Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep are known hosts of COVID-19, and I quote from them: "hunters should avoid applying for tags to hunt this species, and avoid the handling of any meat or organs until this pandemic is contained".
I know I will abstain from this year's draw and I highly suggest you do the same. :)

PA still has the youth/mentored day scheduled for the 11th. My son and I usually give it a few weeks before we hit the creeks. After the first few weekends you can have the creeks to yourself if you don't mind walking a little.
