Our Montana outfitter has some awesome archery mule deer hunting in the far southeast corner of the state. We lease private ranches that span for miles giving us the opportunity to provide the quality game you are looking for. The outfitter prides himself in maintaining an area where game can reach a mature age with minimal hunting pressure. We are located approximately south of Broadus, Montana along the Little Powder River. The outfitter leases approximately 150,000 acres of private land. Southeastern Montana’s terrain varies from river bottoms to mountainous buttes.
Most hunting is conducted by spot and stalking which is an exciting way to hunt mule deer. The trophy quality is excellent with mature bucks generally ranging from 130 to 190. Deer licenses are available through the draw and the application deadline is usually at the end of April. But all non-resident applicants are successful.

Gene, it is a general tag. The cost of the hunt is $3800 including food and lodging or $4800 when combined with antelope which is a $1200 saving.
