Hey guys ive always wanted to do a full turkey mount and maaaaaaaaybe this year ill go for it. I should know better than to plan this before season as it will probably jinx me later, or maybe im just getting anxious as our season here in iowa doesnt open for a few weeks.Show me what youve got to give me the incentive not to screw up on my shots this spring!

Here is an option if you don't want to do the full mount. I removed all but the smallest bones from the wings and stretched them like the tail fan. Once dried, coat skin side with bondo. Used a unique piece of walnut given to me by an old friend. I like it and it shows off more of the bird without eating up a ton of space. Pete

Wanted something slightly different. He was about in this position, on the ground, when I shot him. Coming out of strut and gobbling. 34 yards spine shot.

Turkey mounts take a lot of space. I like the strutting but takes to much floor space for me. I did a flying one for one my daughter killed.

I agree with JohnMC. I do not recommend full flight due to the space that it takes up.......Bob

Nice mounts! Even the one on the hen??one of my ideas is a hanging mount flying from this beam but have never seen one and wouldn't know how a guy could hang it to look real

Shug.....You only lack the “lip curl” pose, then you’d pretty much have all the bases covered ;-)
