All species, weapon type ect.

Short cut--------> to the upper left side and use the drop down and pick your species......

I've seen maybe 1% of Proposed tag numbers change and it's usually on the Ressy side of the house.

Don't shoot the messenger fella's and ladies,

Thanks Robb.

Looks like for the first time in a long time, there'll be NR sheep licenses in the bonus draw. Both a Desert Bighorn license and a Rocky Bighorn license. So any NR's with max points who happened to make the right lucky guess in their app, their draw chances should be better this year. Also noticed that the license numbers don't add up to the totals listed on the Mt Goat table, for both '19 & '20. Think they left off a couple of hunts.

Where was the NR ewe hunt listed? I must have missed than one on the application. Sandbrew

John, the application will be in the Antlerless timeframe Mid-May/Early June.

Go to page 8 in the dropdown and the map is there to view

Those are Cali's out on the Newffies not Rockies or Deserts.

I try to get out there at least once a year to hunt Chukars and view the Sheep.

Good luck, Robb

What's up with Bison?

05-Apr-20
Bison tags cut in half, wonder if it’s all units. Also if there may be plans for a transplant somewhere? I know the Henrie’s herd is important as a “pure “ bison herd.

I've got a couple of Bowsite bud's with high end points and I could just Vomit about the Buff tag numbers...…

Damn the luck,

Maybe not, Treeline.

A float trip to hunt OTC, that's a new twist!!

I know they have done it for the Ram tags in the Nine Mile overlap unit.

Good luck, Robb

Now that sounds interesting!

84 mile float down desolation canyon for a bison!

Sounds like the Utes might not be in favor of it so they might be a bit up at arms...

Very interesting for sure...

The 84 mile float in just sounds like an adventure.

The real question is how long is the float OUT with your 600lbs of meat??

I’ve floated Desolation canyon with the family. Fun times, not too technical. We had a kicker motor for the flat parts and did the whole thing in a few days. No bison spotted but that was a few years ago before the herd growth.

“pure" bison herd opposed to what?”

Many bison herds had been crossed with cattle over the years, especially back in the day when there were few bison left. DNA tests show how pure a herd is. The Henry’s herd has always been wild so no cross breeding with cattle occurred. Some places are working on getting rid of herds with cattle DNA and restocking with “pure”
