Is it possible to replace the limbs of a bow with the next weight class up. For example I have a 2017 Hoyt Powermax 50-60 lb draw. Can I get 60-70 lb limbs and switch them or no?

Hoyt allowed me to purchase 80 lbs limbs for a Tenacity two, long time ago.

No problem. I recently had my local pro shop change out the limbs on my Defiant 34 to different set of weight limbs.

I contacted Hoyt recently to see if the had them and what I needed to do. I want to drop weight. I have a 2014 charger that I want to go to 50-60 lbs. drmike, how much did you pay for the limbs. Just wondering.

Buying new from Hoyt, you can expect to pay approximately $200

Thanks x-man. That is what I kind of figured.

Yes I bought a 2017 Hoyt Carbon Defiant last year that had 70 pound limbs. I had the pro shop owner order a set of 60 pound limbs a couple of months ago. The limbs were 200.00 from Hoyt.. The Carbon Defiant is a nice bow.

Thanks guys, that is what I thought. I really like the bow. It shoots quite well. Plus, I can not see spending 700-800 dollars on a new bow, when this one is just fine. Only problem is it is to heavy in the draw weight.
