yes, I did - twice if I recall correctly - near Walden
I enjoyed both hunts - good ground, great accommodations - have never hunted this particular ranch setup but Matt is a straight up person, businessman, and hunter

Robb, we could do an elk/deer combo hunt but as you know, the deer don't usually inhabit the same areas as the elk. The elk are generally in the higher, more lush country while the deer are generally in the lower sage brush and grass country. So in 5 days it might be hard to bag both. It's probably a better option to hunt deer on a different ranch for a separate 5 days. It sounds funny but we actually have an awesome mule deer hunt in SW Nebraska for a very reasonable price. With elk hunts often going from $5000 or so up to $15,000 plus, how can or why is this one less than $2000.
