Utah shed collectors find honey hole on private land , elk , deer , moose quite the haul,

Could get pricey. As fine is up to $680 and 3 year license revocation .

Happens every year; something about bejeweled pants and a flat brim.

Hope they gave the sheds back to the landowner.

Saw it and "couldn't resist getting it" --- Great response.

I can think of a bunch of crimes that could apply to. Glad they caught them.

I lost the desire to shed hunt after seeing this stuff first hand. People literally camp on bulls and push them around. It’s stupid. All for a few bucks, Instagram views, and of course a Youtube “like and subscribe”.

Law enforcement plants microchips into sheds to track their theft, and movement through the system. Many chipped sheds are now "planted" as bait.

Any link to article or documentation on chip implant in sheds?

The Chip thing floats around the internet for all sorts of stuff, when turkeys were first introduce in Wis , for wolves and now sheds .

The best use of Chips is put them on guys truck or E-bikes and Kiui backpack to track them to their honey holes.

Let's just say it has been part of my official training.

Montana has used chipped antlers for years.

Link didn’t work, “no more free articles please subscribe”.

Chipping must be a real profit center for game and fish dept. They ought to put out more articles of arrests, that would put the fear in the shed shysters.

Just saying ........

One of the coolest articles I have ever read about tacking ivory poachers involved an artificial elephant tusk that was chipped with all kinds of tech.
