I leave in the morning for a few days of camping and hopefully killing some bears. It’s a bit early and still lots of snow up north, but that sometimes works in a hunter’s favour. Find a big bear on one of the few green patches and he won’t be far and only a sow may draw him off. And he may well try and bluff an archer. Bad choice for him! No cell service there (yes!!) so no daily updates, but I’ll do a recap when I get home.

I cut two sets of bear tracks in the snow in the CO mountains about a week ago.
Too bad that won’t let us hunt them in the spring.
