Back to a new old spot. Pal shot one here with the bow opening day. Lost it. Big tom 10” beard at 9 yds..... Dont ask me how.... Turkey fever? Anyway tryin a burlap cloth blind. Way easier to carry for this old dog than the double bull matrix. Got the camera gear so of course i wont see any! Using the gun today.... Remmington 1100 30” barrel with xtra full turkey choke and Remmington #5 Magnum shot..... Time will tell but aint heard nuthin yet.

Got one going coming through a field i moved to. Saw his head pop over the rise. He made a big circle around me 85 yds out. Maybe coulda gottem with a rifle or mortar

Heard that tom gobbling all thru the woods as he walked away. Packed up the gear and tried to cut him off but he went silent. Lots of guys hunt here. Next time no decoys. I think they scared him off. Thats it for today!
