Can anyone tell me the best place to purchase Carter Release aids? Most places are out of stock and it doesn't appear that you can purchase directly from Carter?

You can, or could in the past, buy direct but will pay full retail.

Lancaster Archery has tons of them.

Check Archery Talk classifieds too.

I bought two Carter releases directly from the company. Additionally, I just went to their website and it seems that they still do business directly. Top of their webpage under Price/Order form. They also list their phone number and state that customers can order by phone. Good luck.

If you’re in a hurry you can find them for msrp anywhere. If you want a deal and have some time, keep an eye on Rokslide and archerytalk.

I hunt with the Nock2it, and love it, but the wise choice is basically the same thing only utilizing more fingers. Having a release clipped on to your string is good for hunting as it allows u to use the draw hand for ranging.
