I love the kuiu pro pants. These knee pads are sown to the outside so not removable. Super comfortable

I have a pair of Sitka Mountain pants that are as you describe. They are 7 years old or so, so I am not sure if the pant has changed since then.

Sitka ascent have them and on sale at one shot gear for $151. Run a tad small but not much. Good warm weather pants.

I use my ACUs. Lots of pockets for knee and elbow pads. Any military supply store should be able to hook you up in a variety of camo patterns.

Kings camp preacher pants are currently reduced. Apparently they are changing the material and closing out inventory of the old. The pair I have worked just as well as Sitkas except for a little smaller cargo pockets.

I use my daughters old volleyball knee pads and they worked great. We used them to stalk an oryx two years ago on her hunt, in the rocky desert hills on White Sands, to 35 yards.
