I have enough points to draw any zone I want in Georgia and am planning on cashing in this season. I think I’m going with the AMS Big Game reel and 400 # Spectra. Let’s see your rigs. Thanks!

I have taken or helped guys take 34 gators and I have used all of the above successfully.

I should draw GA gator again this year as well. The best tip i ever got about bowfishing was extremely simple. Take a 5 gal bucket , coil all of your 400 or 600lb test in it. Leave the buoy lying on the deck beside it with the other end obviously attached to your arrow. This will give you AT LEAST 10-15 more feet of range over the AMS reels. You have to hand line it back in the bucket if you miss, but its totally worth it for the extra range. I hate those damn reels and i have 4 of them. The slotted ones for big game suck the most. That line seems to always be restricted for range when its in that bottle.

I also use buckets. It seems like a no brainer.
