Hey guys! I'm just wrapping up the purchase of an outfitters business here in Colorado. Its literally my back yard and where my wife and I grew up. I tried to buy this business 9 years ago but it wasn't the right time. For it to come back to me is a true blessing. We will keep the DBA Shaded Timber Outfitters name this year at least. We will be hunting units 33 and 34. I would like to focus on Archery hunts mostly. For that reason I'm offering discounted prices for Bowsite. OTC hunts in 34 will be 2500$ Any one who drew a 33 Archery tag please contact me. We will be doing things differently. Progression hunts, spike camps out of already remote tent camps, different things to leave the public behind. Our horse camps in 33 are the best hunting in that unit hands down. Please ask questions so I can explain more. Elk will die!

That's great, Forest! Takes a bowhunter to know how to run hunts for bowhunters. How many days for each hunt? Will you offer unguided drop camps too?

Hunt will be 1day in 5 hunt days 1 day out. Camps are remote. Most of the time there should be a chance for a pm hunt on the in day. Shot opportunity is near 100% in all seasons.

Forrest, that sounds awesome! I have plans of my own but it’s hard to beat that kind of guarantee and a back country hunt in the Rockies. Take that all day over a ranch hunt! Looking forward to hearing the results from this season.

Congrats Forest! Wishing you the best. I may have to sign up one day when I finally decide to kill an elk instead of just chase them. I know that spot and I've been above it on the far end of 10 mile. Amazing country. I always have had shot opportunities out there....maybe one year not. Did you find and hold my kelty frame pack when I left it out there at a camp off coffee pot?

Thats some rough nasty country! But is beautiful. Hunted it with EMG for 8 days in 2013. Saw plenty of elk, and bears. Messed up a couple opportunities at bulls and cows.
