Index release material options?

I’ve only ever had the Scott Mongoose release with metal shank. Was looking at trying a new release. Other than material is there any difference between the metal shank release option and releases that attach to wrist strap with the flat nylon material?

I’ve used the nylon attachment for as long as I can remember. Personally, I wouldn’t use a release that has a metal shank. The nylon attachment allows you to adjust the trigger length exactly where you want, rather than being limited to where the holes are drilled in a metal shank.
