CO Elk draw question

Ok. I know you cannot turn in a drawn tag and keep both your points and your money in Colorado. My question is if you submit your app but learn you’ve drawn a different state before the drawing, can you withdraw your app or change your hunt code to the preference point code? I’m just thinking ahead for next year.

Only up until the drawing deadline in early April. I applied and then chanced my second choice on my deer application but it hat was in the first couple days in April. So in general the answer to your question is: no
