After years of handling it themselves and getting it done in a timely manner, they handed it over to a private company last year and it took forever for them to refund the money in 2019 - unacceptably long.
I think as a private company, they're not motivated to give people their money back and they should get their feet held to the fire by ID Game and Fish.

Last year the refund appeared on my credit card on June 18th. FYI - I had made an inquiry about the timing of refunds and received a snippy response that they only had to get them done by 6/30.

A few years back, I never received my sheep refund and my CC company never showed it. The 3rd party company continually told me it was already refunded. Ended up having to dispute the charge and received a very unpleasant voicemail from the company to which I never responded back. A few days later my money was back on my card.
Upon talking to IDFG about this, it seemed there were some other instances of issues with the refunds that year also.

Has anyone gotten there Idaho refund this year yet? I called yesterday and after transferring me 3 times said they will check into it . She said it could take up to a week to get a response from the accounting department . That is crazy

Mine was done June 10th as mentioned above. They electronically credit the card you applied with. They don't mail checks.

It wasn’t IDFG that switched to the 3rd party. I believe it was lobbied successfully through the legislation process.

Got my sheep refund a few weeks ago.

Took awhile but i got sheep refund. Idaho's vendor sucks. Two years ago I waited eight weeks for a refund.
