No luck for me in the deer draw, didn't apply for lope.

I didnt get a ticket to the dance either. 80+ % chance for lope and didnt get it. My buddy had 100% chance and didnt get drawn either. Must of been a lot more applicants this year?
Got my deer tag. GoHunt said I had 100% chance. Taking more points every year.

Drew my type 1 antelope tag, the wife and I also each drew a type 6 tag for the same unit. No luck on the deer draw. Can't wait to get back to central Wyoming this September.

My wife and I were successful in the antelope draw.
Still max points for deer.....grrrrr
Drew antelope tags for myself, nephew and niece. Excited about the antelope hunt, but no elk hunts this year. Only missed one year in the elk woods in the last 18 years.

I did draw Area 91 pronghorn Wyoming And 900-20 in Montana
Like Wy draw process. Was 3 tags available 1st one went to a 6 point holder, the 2nd tag went a 4 point holder and the 3rd tag and last available tag gets drawn in at less than 4 points pool. 25% percent chance our 4 man group number gets the 3rd tag, and then per Wyoming draw policy they up the tag quota so we all going.
Some states our app would have been toss due to no tags for entire group. This happen once before, for an elk group application I was in.
This will be my second point share antelope hunt in Wy , the last one 8 years or so ago, was very memorable as I got to sit in the blind with BB and learn first hand the finer points of antelope shot-placement. Oh ya executed the classic BB frontal shot at an antelope, as the famous wildlife photographer BB, video the whole thing.
This years point share hunt will be with a different Bowsiter.
In Wy it’s like extra $75 for NR to hunt archery season. Always a head scratcher. At least I bought lifetime conservation card or whatever it’s called many many years ago.
The unit we applied for went up 2 points over last year and no draw for us.
The unit I applied for jumped nearly 2 full points in the special draw and point creep receded in the regular draw. Nonetheless, I thought it was a lock and we ended up with the possibility of not drawing.
Our group was drawn for antelope. Yippee!!!!
Got my 2nd choice deer, I'm content.
