Lime- depth?

Is there a preferred depth that the pelletized lime and fertilizer should be at for turnips and tillage radish.

Normally I disc, drag, seed, lime, fert, drag and compact.

Can the lime and fertilizer be put down first before discing or is it better after discing?

I have away put lime down before I stared to disc. Fertilizer can depend on for deep the roots go down. But most times I would disc fertilizer to about 3 inches. Lime is way to slow to be put on top and not disc in.. Fertilizer can be put on top and if its a established plot thats the only way.
