I have a bull moose tag in 37-371 this year. I have been exploring some of the areas but want to spread my search into the Eagles Nest and further regions. Before I head in deeper I am looking to try and find someone to pay that might be able to help with horse or llamas and such me pack it out if and when I get that big critter down. got some feelers out but nothing bolted down so far....any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Yes sir, he's telling you there is no one legally licensed to go in there for you for compensation. Best bet would be to find a horse(s) to rent and do it yourself. Good luck.

I would rent horses I am open for that I don't need a wrangler....

Might even try llamas. There's a guy just east of Kremmling that rents them.

Just shoot it within a mile of the road and get after it.

I know a guy with Llamas that probably could help you out. Let me know I’ll be more than happy to help you out.

You could also talk to Sombrero about renting horses for a couple days. I believe they still drop-off and pick up. One thing to consider is the meat care at that time of year while waiting to get him packed out. Might be chilly at night, might not. That's a LOT of meat to cool down.

Kevin Kaltenbaugh east of Kremmling has had llamas for hire. I believe his bowsite handle is squirel.
