7th Rocky Mountain Bighorn - 13th Sheep
My ex-boss (he retired) just shot his 7th Rocky Mountain Bighorn in New Mexico Monday. This is his 13th North American Sheep and all have been archery. (1 Dall, 2 Stones, 2 Deserts, 1 California Bighorn (also counts as a Rocky in the Grand Slam), and 7 Rocky Mountain Bighorns)
Quite the archery hunting accomplishment.
Wow! That is an amazing accomplishment! Congrats to the bowhunter!
Amazing accomplishment - the sheep hunts as well as the discipline to save up enough to make it happen!
Nice! Looks like a Rio Grande Gorge Ram from the surrounding habitat?
Save a few for the rest of us man!
Impressive, congrats to him.
Congrats to your boss. He seems to have caught sheep fever!
Was that one taken a reservation hunt?
Wow, that's a lot of archery rams.
2 Stones with a bow is challenging
Tremendous accomplishment. Congrats to the former boss. Everyday is Saturday when you’re retired.
That's impressive! I'd love to hear some of those stories - looks like he has a few!
Kudos to him! That's incredible.
Excellent! And still after them! Good for him!
Sounds like his sheep fever is permanent! Congrats to the hunter!
Not bad... I'm only 13 behind him!
Deadly! Any story behind this one?
Awesome & incredible for sure.. I was never interested in Bowhunting Sheep (thank goodness-it's costly). BUT I did see some last week while on vacation & not in a park.. Right outside my hotel just out side of Deadwood S.D.
Pretty incredible. I am one jealous SOB. Great job by your ex-Bossman!
Wow! With today's tag environment I honestly didn't think that was even possible.
Incredible accomplishments. Would love to see some more pics or his trophy room!
I think we need to see the rest of them! Hell of a job!
Absolutely amazing accomplishment. Post some pics of the other rams!
Amazing. What’d he do for a living?
He is in Foss and Noska territory!
Incredible! Both incredible two tag out on those sheep and incredible to make the amount of money necessary to do so! I wanna be like him when I grow up
Way cool, kinda glad I never got the sheep/goat fever bug. I'd be more broke than I am now.
Well, that IS dedication! Nicely done. Paul
Is he buying the auction tag for NM? Just curious and good for him if he is. Did he hunt with GT Nunn for his NM bighorns? I met some of his guides last year on my dad’s NM Rio Grande bighorn hunt.
Awesome! Those are some pretty amazing sheep.
He certainly is a Legend with his bow and sheep.
Very impressive and good for him. Would also like to know his career and how he earned his lifestyle, that's equally impressive and inspiring.
