I think I have my grip issue figured out. But it's not a grip that I can get until full draw. Meaning I have to grab the grip, come to full draw and adjust grip. Is that normal? Can you guys come to full draw with your grip like your going to shoot. Or do you have to adjust after you get to full draw?

Notice how far away from the lifeline he is. Keep the thumb at 2:00.

I try to draw with correct grip. But sometimes, as I get to full draw, I realize my grip is not right, so I adjust. But I think it’s best to have correct before you draw. Interested to see others opinions and experience.

I once had bad torque on a Hoyt matrix I could not beat to get my fixed blades to fly well so I would make my fingers into a fist after I came to full draw and just have my thumb and a little palm on the grip. Shot great that way, but was not ideal.

I watched these videos which are really helpful, then i marked the back of my hand in line with the bow so each time i grab it its the same. That works for me. I'm thinkin about gettin a tattoo..

Never-ever adjust after full draw.... that will induce resistance between the skin and the grip. That resistance will "uncoil" as you release the arrow. This is why a slippery cotton glove can help, it doesn't allow that resistance. your hand will mostly "self-center" if allowed to slip into the path of least resistance.

"I let the bow push into my hand when I draw, which holds it in place. Lightly grip with the fingertips if needed and relax at full draw so only the back of the grip is in contact with you."
This ^^^. You should never readjust your grip at full draw.
