The gobbler we called Hermit is in his final resting place; plenty of memories with this bird we hunted all season. Lots of time in this mount but I’m pleased with how it turned out. My son Austin finally outwitted him with 3 days to go.

Very cool, I even like the barbed wire touch. Hard to see that detail the first time. A turkey skull is not easy to clean, at least for me (unless you have beetles). I got lucky and found one of my skulls in my woods cleaned after a while without anything taking off with it.
